The Upper Mustang region, particularly Lo Manthang, has a rich history tracing back centuries. As a significant part of the ancient salt trade route connecting Tibet and India, Lo Manthang was a crucial hub for trade and cultural exchange. The region was also ruled by the Lo kings for generations, and its walled capital, Lo Manthang, stood as a prominent center of power and culture. Today, it retains its historical essence, drawing visitors with its preserved heritage and unique Tibetan-influenced lifestyle.


Itinerary


Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. (20 min drive)

Our representative will be there to welcome you at Arrivals. After that, you'll be taken to your hotel for some rest and relaxation. (Welcome drink & Check-in at Hotel).

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara by private Vehicle. (850m) (200 km/ 7-8 hrs).

After Breakfast: Early morning we will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu which takes around 7 hours, passing through the hills and local villages, trishuli river and lunch on the way. After we reach at Pokhara you can roam around the Phewa lakeside of Pokhara. Altitude: 800 m

Day 3: Flight to Jomsom from Pokhara & trek to Kagbeni. (3-4h , ALTITUDE : 2800 m)

On this day we will have flight to Jomsom from Pokhara, the flight offers majestic views of Mt. Annapurna ranges, Mt. Machhapuchhre , Mt. Dhaulagiri and after we landed at Jomsom airport we will start our hike to Kagbeni which will take 3 to 4 hours of gentle walk.

Day 4: Trek to Chele. (6h , ALTITUDE : 3070 m)

After breakfast, We begin our journey early today to avoid the strong winds that usually pick up later in the day. In the morning sunlight, the Nilgiri mountain appears orange, reflecting the sun's rays. We proceed along the eastern side of the Kali Gandaki River until we reach the expansive Chhusang Valley. As we leave Kagbeni behind, we climb upwards, providing us with breathtaking views of the village and the towering Mt. Nilgiri (7061m). It will takes 5 to 6 hours of gentle walk to reach Chele village.

Day 5: Trek to Syangboche. (7h , ALTITUDE : 3700 m)

This day we will start our trek to syangboche from Chele that will offers you the unique landscape and the himalayan ranges and also get to observe local people culture and their habitat.

Day 6: Trek to Dhakmar. (6h , ALTITUDE : 3820 m)

After our breakfast we will head towrads Dhakmar which will takes around 5 to 6 hours of walking. Rest at Dhakmar.

Day 7: Trek to Lo Mantang. (6h , ALTITUDE : 3860 m)

After breakfast we will move to Lho- Manthang one of the popular place of Upper Mustang with deep historical significance and rich local people culture traditions. Offering every trekkers the majestic landscape and the hevanly view and worth himlayan ranges. It takes 5 to 6 hours of gentle walk to reach Lho- Manthang from Dhakmar.

Day 8: Visit and Explore Lo Mantang. (3860 m)

In this day we will explore the Lo- Manthang village and its unique natural scene with ancient monastries and locals culture and also our body will acclimatize with the environment over there.

Day 9: Trek to Charang. (5h , ALTITUDE : 3540 m)

After spending night at Lho- Manthang, we will move to the second largest village of Mustang Region that is Charang village passing through unique landscape and trails. Charang village offers you the great culture, way of life of locals and unique landscape. Rest at Charang village.

Day 10: Trek to Ghiling from Charang. (6h , ALTITUDE : 3550 m)

On this day We will descend to Ghiling Village, a small vllage in upper mustang region famous for its scenic beauty of culture and landscape along with historical old monastries. To reach Ghiling village It takes arounf 5 to 6 hours of gentle walk.

Day 11: Trek to Chhommang. ( 6h , ALTITUDE : 3000 m)

On this day after breakfast in the morning, we will trek down to Chommang from Ghiling which will be 6 hours of walk. Rest at Chommang.

Day 12: Trek to Jomsom. (6h , ALTITUDE : 2700 m)

After breakfast, we will trek to Jomsom which is at an altitude of 2743 m it will take 5 to 6 hours to reach.

Day 13: Fly to Pokhara to Kathmandu. (30 min +25 min)

We will have flight to Pokhara from Jomsom in the morning, the flight offers the scenic views of hills and himalayan ranges and also later on we will have flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure Day

.You will be transfer to the airport 3 hours before your flight time.
