The Annapurna Base Camp Trek, also known as ABC, is one of Nepal's most popular treks, revered for its blend of lush landscapes, captivating cultures, and panoramic mountain views. Situated in the Annapurna region of the Himalayas, the trek leads adventurers to the base of Annapurna I, the world's 10th highest peak. Starting from the town of Pokhara, the trek progresses through diverse terrains, from verdant bamboo forests and alpine meadows to high mountain landscapes. Along the path, trekkers pass through charming Gurung and Magar villages, experiencing the warm hospitality and rich culture of the local communities. The trek's highlight is reaching the Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4,130 meters, where trekkers are surrounded by a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of towering peaks.

Annapurna Base Camp, the trail takes you through rhododendron forests and across alpine meadows before arriving at the base camp, encircled by majestic peaks such as Annapurna I and Machapuchare. Known for its breathtaking landscapes, deep cultural connections with local villages, and the stunning magnificence of the Himalayas, this trek offers a remarkable experience.


Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel. (20 min drive)

Our representative will be there to welcome you at Arrivals. After that, you'll be taken to your hotel for some rest and relaxation. (Welcome drink & Check-in at Hotel).

Day 02: Flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu and Drive to Ulleri, and Trek to Ghorepani (2,800m)

We'll catch a flight to the picturesque city of Pokhara followed by a drive to Ulleri in a private jeep. After enjoying lunch in Ulleri, we begin our trek to Ghorepani, trekking through lush forests of rhododendrons, pine, and deodar trees. After five hours of gentle walk, we arrive in Ghorepani where we spend the night in a comfortable lodge. Altitude: 2,800m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel/Lodge

Day 03: Morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,200m) and Trek to Tadapani (2,570m)

Early morning hike takes us to Poon Hill to witness a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna Massif. After returning for breakfast, we continue our journey through pine and rhododendron forests to Tadapani, where we'll spend the night. Day 04: Trek to Chomrong from Tadapani (2,170m)

After breakfast, our path leads us downhill through the forest to Chomrong. Lunch will be enjoyed in a Gurung village along the way, after which we'll proceed to our overnight stay in Chomrong. Altitude: 2,170m ,Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel/Lodge

Day 05: Trek to Dovan from Chomrong (2,600m)

Today, we descend stone steps and cross a suspension bridge over the Chhomrong River, making our way out of the valley and into dense forests, before ascending to Kuldi and then descending to Dovan, rest at Dovan Altitude: 2,600m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel/Lodge

Day 06: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) (3,700m)

Our trek continues to MBC, located in the Annapurna Sanctuary with striking views of the surrounding peaks. The trail is rugged and often steep as it follows the Modi Khola Valley. Altitude: 3,700m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Teahouses

Day 07: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,200m) and return to MBC

After breakfast, we ascend to Annapurna Base Camp, enjoying panoramic views and then return to MBC for the night. Altitude: 4,200m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Teahouses

Day 08: Trek to Bamboo from MBC(2,310m)

We retrace our steps through lush forests down to Bamboo, where we rest for the night. Altitude: 2,310m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Teahouses

Day 09: Trek to Jhinu Danda from Bamboo(1,780m)

Today’s journey brings us to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs. After descending to Chhomrong Khola, we climb back up to Chomrong before descending to our resting place for the night. Altitude: 1,780m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Accommodation: Lodge/Tea houses

Day 10: Trek to Nayapool and Drive to Pokhara

Following a restful break at Jhinu Danda’s hot springs, we trek down to Kyumi. From here, a private jeep takes us back to Pokhara, where we will spend a leisurely evening by the lakeside and visit the Tal Barahi temple. Altitude: 850m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel

Day 11: Pokhara Sightseeing Full Day (5-6 hrs)

After Breakfast, you can explore Pokhara on your own since it’s a beautiful city with major attraction places like davis fall, Gupteswor mahadev cave, world peace pagoda, Paragaliding, zip lining etc.

Day 12 Fly Back to Kathmandu from Pokhara and Explore Thamel in Evening

After Breakfast, we will fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. (25 min)

Day 13: Departure day

We will transfer you to the airport before 3 hours prior your flight time.
